Cheddleton Liason Group

In order to establish a cohesive and effective relationship with our local community, John Pointon and Sons and The Environment Agency (E.A.) implemented Cheddleton and Wetley Rocks Community Liaison Group in April 2008.

Our group meets for approximately 2hrs on a quarterly basis to establish regular communication between the company and the community, to receive updates from the EA and the company and to resolve any issues that the community may have.

The residents group comprises of directors of John Pointon & Sons, District and Parish Councilors, Charlotte Atkins MP, Trading Standards, The Environment Agency, The State Veterinary Service and members of the community around the Pointon’s factory.
